"OVER-ALL
It's Been a Great Year!"
(submitted by chelle)
A "fun" bulletin board:to
do at the end of the school year is this: Take a real pair of overalls (if you
have them and can secure to the board!), surrounded
by pictures, newspaper articles and/or student work:
"Over-all...It's been a Great
Year!"
Variations: Try using overalls in infant or toddler sizes. They'll fit right
on your board and a staple gun will secure them. Also I've seen some of those
classroom helper decorations that are overalls with lots of pockets. You could
put pictures or student work in the pockets of something like this too.
Another Variation: I used this idea for a bragging board titled
"OVER-ALL We've got a great band!". I printed the students names
using a blue jean texture from Print Shop and stapled them around the overalls.
The kids really liked it! My son's overalls (size 12 months) worked perfectly
on the small bulletin board.
