Our Staff Outshines Them All

Here's an idea for recycling CDs.    I took individual CD's and stuck them to the boring brick wall outside my room.  I then took digital pictures of each member of our staff and mounted their picture on the CD.  I put a label under each CD with the staff member's name and position.  My slogan was "Our Pine Butte Staff Outshines Them All".  I did double letters for the slogan made from silver wrapping paper and black construction paper.  I put the black letters behind the silver to give the appearance of a shadow.  You could do the same thing with students pictures for choir or band, or classroom teachers could do it with their class.  Parents and students are always stopping to look at the pictures.  They love to find their teacher, and it helps them identify people they may see around the school and not know who they are.
