I have this bulletin board across
from my classroom that was recently moved there b/c we had an extra and there
was no board by my room. At first I was unhappy that I was now the lucky caretaker
of this board, but after collaborating with the art teacher, we came up with a
great idea. I have these little black eighth notes that I bought at a teacher
store, and we traced them and cut them out in all different colors. Then the
art teacher did a project with our 3rd graders where they had to turn the notes
and basically make a picture out of them! One girl turned it on its side and
made it into a high heeled shoe (in crayon, she drew the leg and background).
The ideas were great and we mounted them with bright colored paper and headed
the board with "Music is found everywhere" Just thought I would
share~!
