"The Keys to Reading are in Music"

(submitted by Cecilia)

1.You can use a large keyboard across your entire bulletin board, label the keys and maybe list books to read connecting with music from the lists that were posted. Or student's work after reading the books, questions answered, summaries even reviews of the books.

2.Or spell words using the staff.

I have a bulletin board outside the music lab which I dress up according to either season or actual work in class, or something informative for parents and eye catching. This headline I used it over the top of my white board front and center and because we hold faculty meetings in my room every other week so they got to see that reading isn't just a part of the regular classroom but also a part of the arts. (Some teachers still think we sit in circles and sing songs, you know?)
