Fall Into the Arts

I made this bulletin board to start the school year with arts advocacy.  I used an Ellison machine to cut the leaves.  On the leaves are quotes from theorists and educators about how and why the arts make people smarter and ultimately more human. I also put a few lesson plans with essential questions on the board (Skipping this would not detract from the board)  One might skip using quotes on leaves and just print larger quotes and scatter a few of them here and there. I used a fabric background but one could use paper or what ever they happened to have.  It is such a simple way to start the year on a positive note.  -submitted by Sherry
