We Love Percussion!

Around Valentine's Day I found some heart shaped paper plates and knew right away that I had to use them on a bulletin board!  Using free clipart and a word processing program I created some quick signs that contained pictures of percussion instruments and their names.  I printed and cut them into heart shapes and attached to the plates. 

You could use this idea for any instrument family or group of ethnic instruments, to highlight band and choir members, etc...
