Good Luck This Year

This was created for a door display, but would translate just as well to a bulletin board.  I took paper plates and spray painted one side of them brown.  In retrospect I should have picked a lighter shade, but *shrugging* oh well!  When they were dried I folded them in half, gave them a little dent in the middle and stapled the edges together to hold them in place.  The "fortunes" said things like "You will find great delight in a good book" and "You will join a musical group this year."  You could create fortunes that were ONLY music like "You will learn to play a new instrument." and "You will try out for a solo in the school musical." and so on.
