I
Have a Dream
(submitted by Daniel)
This bulletin board is made by
putting a "big old" picture of Martin Luther King on the side. Next
to it, at the top, it says, "I Have a Dream". Below that is the
rhythm for "I Have a Dream" (quarter, two eighths, quarter, quarter
rest) Below the rhythm are class contributions that fit this theme and also fit
the rhythm. So far, I have: "He marched and led. Blacks made up jazz. He
made a speech. Slaves should be free. Let's all be free. He wanted peace."
Next to the class contributions is the grade level and teacher's name for
identification. Of course, the kids like seeing (and learning!!) what other classes
thought of that fits the rhythm. I like bulletin boards like this that might
actually teach something instead of being just decorative.
