Our school
theme the year I used the first bulletin board was "The
Wonderful World of Learning". I thought that would be
perfect to illustrate that music is the
universal language. I did
a search for free translating tools online and translated
music into as many different languages as possible.
Throughout the year, it was fun to have the students
recognize some of the languages and identify what country
goes with the language. I teach in a very culturally
diverse school, so the students felt special when a
language spoken at their homes was on the board!-Penelope
