Musicians are a Treasure

March is such a busy time with Music in Our Schools Month that I don't usually get to do something for St. Patrick's Day.  I was delighted to work in a way to brag about my band and choir members AND do a seasonal bulletin board in March! :-D I created a pot of black bulletin board paper and used small goldish colored plates to imitate a pile of gold.  On the plates I wrote student names and their instrument (for band members) or wrote the word "Choir" if in this group. The rainbow was created with small rectangles of paper.  Although it looks like a lot of work, it went up quickly.  After I had the title and shamrocks up I thought it was missing something.  I went back with a piece of chalk and drew notes on each of the rainbow pieces.
