The background is green corrugated
board, but any green background would work just fine.
I taped the lines with masking
tape & the numbers are die cut from
white construction paper.
I made the letters that say "March to the beat of your
own drum" by enlarging the font to have one letter per
letter size page. Then I cut them out.
The
marching band was made on
poster board - I traced them (from a transparency & used
my overhead projector) &
then I painted them. They each have a "plume" made
from a boa I bought at the Dollar Store.
The
bulletin board did not have the photos until later in the
year. I took pictures of the students during class,
printed the pictures and then displayed them on this
bulletin board & outside of my door.
